Workpackages of ROCKET
The ROCKET Project is structured in 6 technical work-packages (WP), corresponding to main research fields. An additional work-package is dedicated to project management.

Once the marketable user and application scenarios have been defined in WP1,
the technical scenarios will be used as a basis for the development of the pillars of the proposal:
 Spectrum enlargement (in WP2)
Advanced cooperative communication strategies (in WP3 and WP4)
Ultra-efficient MAC design (in WP5)
In every workpackage, the exploration of fundamental limits of these systems will be used
as a guideline to devise novel communication strategies which advantageously trade with
optimality and yet feasibility. On the other side, the solutions adopted have to be considered
in terms of compatibility with the target standards.
