Main tasks attributed in the project

WP1: TCF will contribute to task 1A3 / deliverable D5, providing information about its patents and publication strategies in the context of the ROCKET project.
WP2: In WP2, TCF will work on task 2A2 / deliverable D10 and propose innovative strategies based on genetic algorithms for frequency planning and relay deployment in multicell scenarios, with a view to dynamically increase the usable spectrum.
WP3: TCF will provide contributions on task 3A2 / deliverable D7, building an OMNeT++ simulation to compare the MAC-level performance of various Alamouti-based cooperative relaying techniques in the single-cell multi-user context of the "one way two paths" relay channel scenario.
WP5: TCF will be involved in task 5A1 / deliverable D8 and will propose MAC enhancements to support mobility in cellular networks and indicators to measure network stability consecutive to introduction of adaptability at MAC layer. The performance of the resulting ultra-efficient MAC protocol will be evaluated in comparison with other enhanced MAC protocols specifically designed for high data rate waveforms.
